Also, Mosin from the Bastards and BDG Team 4 is going to be NATO CO.

Is there room to jump in with you guys? I can get a MARPAT set if the roster isn't full. My initial plan was to wear Mulitcam but if there's room for one more it would be cool to go with some people from Michigan instead of a rando squad.

It would involve applying to the BDG and becoming accepted, which is a somewhat lengthy processes. If we need to fill slots at the last minute it's possible we might group other people in, but those decisions probably won't be made for a while.

Fair enough. I didn't know it was that in depth. It'll save me some money anyway going Multicam, considering I need to buy a bunch of other stuff.

I would recommend that  you still put an app in, we're a new group so something's might not be perfect yet, but there is no harm in trying.

I was looking at the uniform requirements, and for the REGFOR (militia) it states that you need either woodland camo or olive drab. It states specifically M81, but I have MARPAT camo, which is a woodland camo. Does anyone know if MARPAT is allowed? If not, I need to buy another set of BDU's.

They mean m81.

They are very specific on camo regs, so if they say m81,  the mean that and not marpat.

MARPAT is only allowed for the NATO side, and you have to be with a group of nine people to wear it (because it is not Multicam).

So far we've got something around 40-50 Blue Diamond guys in the Platoon of MARPAT. For the record though we'll be doing desert FROGS and MCCUU's, not woodland.

In regards to Stinger's post about having to join BDG before rolling with us, that's not true. Blue Diamond Group as a whole is a general interest group as well as a team within the group. For those that are serious about wanting to have the same guys to roll with over and over, I suggest joining the team. For those that just want to do the USMC impression bit and want to fill out the group of 9 for a single MSW event, you're welcome to join us and learn more before you submit an application.

All the same though, I'll be at MUTC and will be the CO for NATO side. We've also got Anthony P from Amped Airsoft and Dan M rolling as NATO Platoon Sergeants, and they're both super experienced.
