Pistol belt recommendations?
« on: June 27, 2015, 10:41:32 AM »
Hi guys, I need some help finding a good belt for mounting a SERPA, two pistol mag pouches, and a dump pouch. I was looking at duty belts, but I don't know exactly what I'm looking for. Would the belt need to be a "rigid" pistol belt, or is a normal "duty belt" adequate? Here are some that I've found just by browsing around:

Duty belt = a rigid belt generally, it looks like some of those are using shooters belt to describe it as well. Duty belt may be your best option. I've run said setup, and more, on duty belt's with suspenders. I've also run that setup on a riggers belt with no big issues. I'd avoid that 5.11 TDU belt, as it looks to be fairly flimsy and difficult to cinch down.

Just know that with a duty belt you'll still need a belt to hold up your pants. Suspenders are also quite helpful when using them.

I ended up ordering a Flyye duty belt.
