2018 Storyline:“South Korea is a whorehouse, where the imperialism of the United States and its allies procreate in the loins of outsourced industry and globalization. Our mores and venerated traditions are corrupted and sold in the back alleys of Seoul by vendors of capitalism. The glorious legacy of Korea, built on the backs of freedom fighters is burdened by the scourge of American colonialism upon our world.”

Coalition Troops Rout Chinese Infantry Outside Of Kansong
Elements of the U.S. 8th Army and members of the South Korean 703rd Special Assault Regiment have surrounded Chinese troops besieging Kangsong for several months. After enduring a harsh and cold winter with temperatures below 6.6 C, South Korean mechanized infantry combined with air and ground support from the U.S. army launched a major offensive causing a temporary collapse of the PLA front line and the subsequent retreat of remaining Chinese troops.
Squad sized pockets of Chinese troops have attempted to mount a nighttime counterattack, but were quickly repelled by heavy amounts of small arms fire and artillery. As South Korean troops entered Kangsong, they were greeted by hundreds of civilians waving South Korean and American flags. There is however a putrid scent emanating from the from the city streets. Sewage and wastewater systems have been destroyed, flowing into low-lying areas of the city. Chinese forces also commandeered a local elementary school and turned it into a makeshift medical ward and morgue, now sitting abandoned during the hasty retreat of PLA troops.

Australia Joins Allied Coalition Fighting On The Korean Peninsula
For the first time the since World War II, Australian, and American forces will be fighting a common enemy. The ANZUS treaty between the United States, Australia, and New Zealand is a mutual protection pact for military matters in the Pacific Ocean and should cooperate together on military security matters. Initially providing limited military support in the form of military advisers, a small contingent of troops and use of military facilities. Now however, the Australian military is beginning to mobilize and there is an feeling on uncertainty on the continent.
Australia’s decision to enter the joint American-South Korean coalition was galvanized by a Chinese terrorist attack and the deaths of nearly 125 military advisers near Incheon. North Korea denies the allegation of killing Australian personnel in an airstrike, issuing a statement saying “The DPRK was targeting South Korean positions and any other casualties could not be confirmed by any outside sources.” The statement was viewed as a delaying tactic by the Australian government for further involvement and escalation beyond the limited support already rendered by Melbourne.

Fighting Intensifies In North Korean City Of Sariwon
North Korean infantry of the KPA I Corp continue to maintain strong positions in and around Sariwon in North Hwanghae Province. Following an initial push into North Korea by elements of the 25th Infantry Division, the advance began to stall due to poor intelligence and stiffer resistance than anticipated. Following a disastrous decision to seize key railway lines, which was repelled by the Red Guards, resulting in the deaths of over 250 infantry and more than a dozen MRAP vehicles.
Coalition forces are now enveloped by well armed North Korean infantry and local militias, effectively cutting off areas south of the city. American troops still occupying large areas on the edge of the city may attempt a breakout and retreat south if several key positions are taken quickly with minimal casualties. South Korean aircraft may prove effective by allowing air support, covering the movement of American troops.

Mass Graves Discovered Outside Ch’orwon
South Korean contractors in the process of bulldozing destroyed buildings, unearthed two large mass graves on the eastern side of Ch’orwon. Initial estimate of 154 bodies in one area and 176 in the other, may climb as areas continue to be investigated and new areas probed. The victims have been identified as members of the South Korean elite, military surrenders, and dozens of civilians, with teenage youth and children being no exception.
The discovery has been condemned by the majority of the international community including all five members of the United Nations Security Council and the G7. United Nations High Commissioner For Human Rights, Prince Zeid Bin Ra’ad of Jordan issued a statement saying: “North Korea continues to commit egregious acts and ignore basic human rights. This example can only be added to the long list of North Korean human rights abuses.”
- Quinten Hallmark, CBS News; New York City.
American and South Korean Forces Capture Dozens Of Chinese Infantry
Elements of U.S. Marine Forces Korea and Korean special forces have captured more than 50 PLA airborne troops dug in outside of Puch’on, South Korea. Chinese airborne troops were initially deployed with the intention of capturing key bridges over the Han river, including five on the outer edge of Puch’on. Chinese forces succeeded in capturing three of the five targeted, with the remaining in control of South Korean infantry.
A strategic air-ground offensive by U.S. Marines and South Korean special forces along the western side of the city resulted in the capture of all three bridges and the infantry formerly holding them. The operation was lauded as a major success by coalition forces, securing vital crossing points over the Han river with minimal damage to local infrastructure. The captured PLA airborne troops are rumored to be en route to Seoul for interrogation and holding at the Phu Lo’c Detention Center.
