The new G&G CM16 SR
« on: July 21, 2015, 09:43:01 PM »
So G&G has announced it's new combat machine.

Do you guys think it'll be worth it? I was interested in selling my raider and buying this instead as a better backup.

There's not a whole lot new here.

It has a high-speed, whiz-bang body with all of the trendy bits that airsofters are looking for these days like the Keymod rail.

The MOSFET and the electronic trigger module are both proprietary parts, so sourcing replacements might be difficult if something breaks. Ares guns also make use of a similar trigger module and have for quite some time.

If you like the gun and the included features and it's in your price range then I'd say go for it. G&G is a mainstream company and the gun should be fairly reliable out of the box.
