Walk-On Registrations: Post in the official event thread with your name, call-sign, home team, age, and what faction you would like to play on. Payment will be made at field registration, cash only. No credit card sales.

- All walk-on registrations must have a signed-dated waiver before participation. Additional waivers will be available at event registration.

Prepay Registrations: Paypal registration amount to armoryairsoft@gmail.com. Please include your name, call sign, home team, age, and which faction you would like to play on.

- Please mark all prepays with the subject "Op: Barbarossa Registration".
- Please print your PayPal payment conformation and bring it to registration! This is proof you prepaid!

Storyline:

June 22, 1941, 03:15 AM - Cities and military positions along the Soviet-German border come under heavy fire from artillery and aircraft.
June 22, 1941, 03:15 AM - Approximately three million Wehrmacht soldiers, tanks, and cavalry cross the Soviet-German border.
June 22, 1941, 12:00 PM - Soviet Foreign Minister Vyacheslav Molotov announces that German troops have crossed into the Soviet territory without a formal declaration of war.
June 22, 1941, 09:15 PM - Joseph Stalin issues “NKO Directive No. 3” calling for counterattacks along the entire frontline.

July 6, 1941 - Russian forces mount a failed counterattack, resulting in the destruction of 832 tanks and 2,000 lives.
July 16, 1941 - German 29th Panzer Division succeed in capturing the city of Smolensk from Soviet troops.
August 23, 1941 - 500,000 Wehrmacht troops and armor assault the Russian city of Kiev.
September 8, 1941 - German Army Group North begin a prolonged blockade of Leningrad (St. Petersburg).
September 30, 1941 - Wehrmacht troops and armor begin “Operation: Typhoon”, attempting to capture the Russian capital of Moscow.
October 13, 1941 - Heavy rains and plummeting temperatures force the Axis advance on Moscow to slow.
October 30, 1941 - German forces begin the Siege of Sevastopol, a Wehrmacht offensive to occupy the Crimean Peninsula.
November 22, 1941 - Soviet Siberian units, augmenting two army groups inflict heavy casualties on the German 2nd Panzer group, but are ultimately repelled.
December 5, 1941 - Russian troops begin a winter counter-offensive against German troops within 15 miles of Moscow.
December 7, 1941 - Empire of Japan conducts a surprise attack on American Naval positions at Pearl Harbor, Hawaii. United States declares war on Imperial Japan, entering World War II.
January 1, 1942 - German forces are pushed back over 100 miles from their assault on Moscow, due to a successful Soviet counterattack, costing the German Reich more than 830,000 lives.
January 8, 1941 - Russian troops begin the “Rzhev-Vyazma Offensive”, a costly plan to push German forces from the Rzhev Salient region. Also known as the “Rzhev Meat Grinder” because of heavy losses suffered by Soviet troops.
February 8, 1942 - Soviet forces attempt to overrun an isolated pocket of German troops, resulting in a disastrous battle for the Soviet armed forces. First successful use of a “Airbridge” in military history.

Factions and Uniform Requirements:

Green Team - Soviet Union (40th Army): M81 Woodland, Tropic Multicam, MARPAT, Woodland DPM, Tiger Stripe, OD Green, and Alpenflage.

Tan Team - Germany (Army Group South): Three Color Desert, Six Color Desert, Multicam, Arid MARPAT, ACU, ABU, Black, Urban, Contractor, and Civilian.

- Uniforms that follow either a green based pattern or a tan based pattern, but are not listed will be automatically be placed with a faction of similar color. Message for details or information.
- 'Contractor' (Private Military Contractor) is defined as khaki colored pants and a black top. No exceptions.
- 'Civilian Clothing' is defined as standard street clothing. No camouflage is allowed if using this option.
- Ghillie Suits are allowed on either faction.
- Mismatched uniforms are not allowed under any circumstances.
- Gear color is irrelevant to uniform/faction requirements for all players.
* Multicam is classified as a "swing" uniform, with base color and pattern styles varying by manufacturer and usage. Multicam may be reclassified from one faction to another for balancing or statistical purposes.

Faction Modifers:

Green Team (Soviet Union): 3 lives per spawn, 10 minute spawn times, semi-automatic only.
- Soviet troops will be allowed one automatic rifle per 7 players.
- Players may be healed by any nearby friendly player.
- Respawn locations cannot be attacked.

Tan Team (Germany): 2 lives per spawn, 15 minute spawn times, full and semi-automatic fire allowed.
- Players may be healed by any nearby friendly player.
- Respawn locations cannot be attacked.

Engagement Limits:

1 - 350.0 FPS (0.01j - 1.07j) - Arms length engagement.
350.1  - 410.0 FPS (1.08j - 1.49j) - 20 foot engagement limit.
410.1 - 500.0 FPS (1.50j - 2.32j) - 50 foot engagement limit (Permanent Semi-Auto or Bolt Action Only).
500.1 - 549.9 FPS (2.33j - 2.69j) - Bolt action replicas only.
550 FPS+ (2.7j) - Prohibited under all circumstances.

- Velocities will be measured using the weight of BB being used.
- All replicas will be issued 'chronograph' tags after being registered and measured. These must remain on the replica for the entire event.

Eye Protection Regulations:

- ANSI Z87.1 rated full seal eye protection only, no exceptions.
- 'Full Seal' is defined as a foam band separating the lens of the goggle from the frame portion and the face of the user.
- Mesh goggles, lab safety goggles, safety glasses, etc will not be permitted under any circumstances.
- Lower face protection (Mesh Lowers, Mouth Guards, Etc) not not apply to this.

Barrel Bag/Barrel Plug Regulations:

- All participants must have a barrel bag or a muzzle plug on or in their replica when out of gameplay.
- Barrel bags are available at paintball registration for $7.00 each.

Ammunition-Weapon Regulations:

Handguns, Shotguns, Submachine Guns, and Assault Rifles: 1,500 Rounds.
- All magazine (Low, Mid, or High Capacity) types allowed.

Support Weapons: 2,500 Rounds.
- All magazine (Low, Mid, High Capacity, Box, or Drum) types allowed.

Sniper Rifle and Designated Marksman: 500 Rounds.
- Low or Mid Capacity Magazines Only.

Rocket Launchers, Landmines, IED's, Etc: Undetermined (Normally Allowed).
- Prior field approval only.

Sound Grenades: Allowed.
- Kill Radius: 15 feet.

Smoke Grenades (Hot and Cold Burn): Allowed.
- Allowed with common sense use (if it's starting a fire, put it out).
- Don't ruin it for everyone else (lifetime bans will be issued for reckless use).

- Additional amounts of ammunition or personal items may be left at prospective team respawn location (at your own risk).
- Participants may leave the event at any point to retrieve additional quantities of ammunition, etc stored in other locations (staging area, vehicles, campsites, etc).

Bang Kills:

- No bang kill regulations of any kind will be used for this event.

Knife/Bayonet/Touch Kills:

- Participants may opt to use a simple 'Touch Kill' to quietly disable an opponent. Players must say "Knife Kill" to the opposing party and physically touch the other.
- Participants may use a replica knife/bayonet to also conduct a kill using a physical touch.
- Do not jab, physically assault, or use undue amounts of force.
- Real-Steel knives and bayonets are prohibited under all circumstances.

Surrender Rules:

- No surrender rules of any kind will be in place for this event.

Respawn Rules:

- Each team has a separate respawn location on opposite areas of the field.
- Respawn times will vary based on factions. (Green Team - 10 minutes, Tan Team - 15 minutes)
- Clocks are located at the spawn point for each team.
- Players are prohibited from assaulting either respawn location.
- Respawns are located outside of all field borders.

Lost-Found Items and Stolen Property Policy:

- Hole in the Wall Paintball LLC and/or affiliates will not be held responsible for lost, damaged, or stolen property of any kind on field grounds.
- Participants are strongly advised to not take unnecessary items onto field grounds or playing areas.

Zero Tolerance Policy:

The following infractions will result in immediate removal from field property and a permanent ban from field property. Law enforcement may be used if required to remove problematic players.

- Removal of 'chronograph' or velocity tag on replica.
- Refusal to submit for a 'Spot Check' of velocity.
- Repeated removal of eye protection.
- Repeated incidents of unsportsmanlike like conduct.
- Theft of field, affiliate organizations, or private property of any kind.
- Unauthorized (unregistered) field entry.
- Vandalism or destruction of property.
- Assault of participants, visitors, or field staff.

* Since 2009, Hole in the Wall Paintball participates with multiple event hosting organizations for the maintenance of a statewide participant blacklist and event ban list. Participants committing particularly grievous acts against the community, players, or hosting organizations will incur a ban from all participating event organizations including affiliated out of state locations.

General Field Information:

- HPA fills are available on site. $5.00 for all day air fills, up to 2,500 PSI.
- CO2 fills are available on site. 9 oz - $1.00, 12 oz - $2.00, 20 oz - $3.00 , 24 oz - $4.00.
- Power outlets are available on location.
- Live firearms (real steel) are not permitted on field property.
- Not responsible for items or belongings that are lost, stolen, or damaged.

- Airsoft Replica, Sidearm, and Magazines. [Required].
- Batteries, Charging Unit, and BB's [Required].
- Red 'Kill' Rag [Required].

- Canteen / Hydration Pack [Highly Recommended].
- Radio and Charging Unit [Highly Recommended].
- Flash Light / Tactical Light [Highly Recommended].
- Spare Batteries [Highly Recommended].
- Extra Dry Clothing (Shirt, Pants, Socks) [Highly Recommended].
- Extra Dry Footwear [Highly Recommended].
