I wanted to share these pictures here for anyone who may not be on the facebook groups.  I took over 2500 across both game days and have only made my way through the first 500 or so.  I'll continue to add to this album over the course of the week, so if you don't see yourself or that cool dive that you just know I got, check back in a few days and maybe it'll be up.

Seller/Buyer Ratings / Bubba
« on: July 04, 2015, 06:27:24 PM »
I sold Bubba a set of camo and he was great to deal with.  He paid promptly and was very responsive to PMs.  He was also very understanding when I got held up and couldn't ship for about a week.  I would absolutely do business with him again.

Airsoft Discussion / Re: Thermal Lens question
« on: June 16, 2015, 10:06:38 PM »
Just a note about his test: he never stops moving.  In my experience, as long as the goggles have good ventilation, they won't fog when you're running.  When you're moving, you're forcing airflow into the goggles and cycling the hot, humid air out of the cavity between the lens and your face.  If he did all that running and then hunkered down behind a bunker, out of the wind, he might have different results.

That said, thermal lenses are a great tool to keep your goggles fog free.  There are really five factors that come into play in a set of goggles that contribute to how well they fight fog on any given day.  First, how well they ventilate on their own.  Second, whether or not they have a fan to cycle air.  Third, a thermal lens to keep the cool outside air from condensing the moisture in the humid air next to your face.  Fourth, the anti-fog coating and/or solution you've applied.  And fifth, how clean they are.  If you want to fight fogging 100%, get a set of goggles that naturally have good ventilation, come with a fan and a thermal lens, apply a good anti-fog solution, and clean them gently with soap and water before every gameday.  You can't do any more than that to fight fog.  If you do three or four out of five, you'll have clear vision 90% of the time.

6094 and mp5 mags are sold.

I'm cleaning out the closet.  I accept paypal, postal money orders, and cash if we meet face to face.

Prices do not include shipping.  I'm willing to meet at games at No Limits in Taylor, Futureball in Whitmore Lake, Hell Survivor in Pinckney, and generally anywhere within about 30-45 minutes from Ann Arbor/Ypsilanti.

If there's something in particular you want a close up picture of, just let me know.

I am not interested in any trades of any kind.

Some prices may be negotiable and all reasonable offers from serious buyers will entertained.  If you lowball me, I'm probably going to say no, but it won't hurt to ask.  Please do not offer if you do not have the money to send.  I'm not going to hold anything for a week while you mow lawns or beg your parents for it.

TM M733 is completely stock.  I've owned it for a lot of years, but it's always been my second or third back up so it hasn't seen a whole lot of use.  It's in excellent condition and shoots well.  It's a TM, so you better believe I haven't cracked open the gearbox.  I haven't chronoed it in a while, but it should be shooting around stock TM FPS, 265 if memory serves.  All trademarks are intact, there is no barrel wobble, and the receiver tabs are whole and unbroken.  The only appreciable wear is on the buffer tube where the stock has scrapped away the paint.  Comes with the pictured 8.4v 1500 mAh NiMh battery pack.

Asking $300

LBT 6094 in excellent condition. Date of manufacture is February 2012 which means you get that sexy sexy Coyote Tan webbing.  There's not much to say about it.  I bought it then promptly bought my AVS and relegated this to the gear closet.  Comes with a three 5.56 mag insert:

Asking $300

6094 is sold

Lot of 12 mp5 mags.  The top 6 are MAG midcaps (90 rounds?  Whatever they usually are), the bottom 6 are TM standards (50 rounds on the left, 28 rounds on the right).  The MAG mids are dirty, but not beat up.  The TM standards are beat up, the shorties are in great shape.  All fed well the last time I checked them, but I don't have an mp5 on hand to give them another test run now.

I'm selling as a lot and will not piece out: $35 for all of them

MP5 mags are sold.

Paraclete SOF BDUs in AOR1 and size large.  I wore them once for pictures and put them in the closet.  They are in brand new condition.

Asking $70

Propper DCUs in medium/regular.  I've worn them a little bit but they're still in great condition.  No rips, tears, frays, or obvious wear.  My ass is just too fat for them these days.

Asking $40

Tru-Spec Woodland combat shirt size Medium Long.  I planned to wear it for NL III, but we weren't allowed to match so I used a MARPAT top instead.  Wore it for pictures, it's in brand new condition.

Asking $30

Custom Kydex holster for P226.  It came with the gun when I bought it used, I like SERPAs and never used this.  It's in good condition.  It fits the width of the KJW P226 snuggly, and I imagine it would fit your TM, WE, or even the more accurately sized KWA and KSC just fine as well. Gun is not included

Asking $20

ALICE stuff: LC-2 suspenders in good condition, belt a little worn, a couple of M4 mag pouches, a butt pouch, and a canteen pouch (I think I have the canteen in a bin somewhere in the basement and will throw it in if I find it) in varying states of use.  FLC is in good condition, with no rips, frays, or tears.  The buckle on the front has some scratches, but nothing that impairs function.

I'm selling as a lot and will not piece out: $35 for all of it.

I don't know if we can give mod status to a newbie with only two posts.  That seems pretty outlandish.

Feel free to start one up, Kajunkerspunk.  This place is a blank slate and could use some content.  If you liked it on the old board, start it here.

Off Topic / Re: POST any bugs or issues about the new site HERE

I found how to change it at some point, and I was able to up mine to 100x100.  Let me do some digging and see if I can make it global.  I don't remember if I did it through my profile or through the admin panel.

[edit] I set it to 100x100.  I didn't go beyond that because your avatar expands that date&time/PM/unread post panel at the top of the page and I thought most users would find a 150px tall version of that unattractive.  The proboards site uses 100x100 avatars as well, I believe.

I was thinking that CA's crane stocks fit (or at least, used to fit) sub-C cells, but I wasn't sure so I didn't want to say.  No idea if they still do, though.
