Airsoft Discussion / Waking Wookie from mid-winter slumber

"Yawn" says the Wookie and looks around..
Time to begin checklist for the upcoming season.
1 mile time : 6:15
Rifles - in storage.
PPE - accounted for, working condition and in storage.
Propane - 4 1lb tanks full.
Ammo - .25g 10,000rds, .43g very low - need to place order.
Uniforms - check.. need to lose this winter sleep weight.
Air transportation - sitting on the ramp, fully fueled (4.5 hours) and 3 empty seats. Ready for flight.
Up coming events - Nothing on Radar. Looking for large events this year.. LionsClaw? Still around?
What are the big events these days?

Next Slack and other message systems, and possibly the ISP's will ban airsoft too, and we'll have to Buy/Trade/Sell on old IRC and FTP servers. Before you know it, we'll all be on the dark web and treated as outlaws.
Maybe I should host a IRC server, we could call it MIAO (Michigan Airsoft Outlaws).

I may go as well. Tan side for me. Playing the same role I have always did before.
If you don't know who I am or haven't met me on the battlefield, then your too damn inexperienced to role with me.
And you best able to run 2 miles in under 12 minutes.

put some silicone oil on it, if it still is binding, then take some 400 or 600 grit sand paper to it until it stops binding.

KJW M700 series will get your going for around $400.
Rifle $250
Tight bore $70
few mags $60-70
total $390-400
This is a gas gun, if you are open to gas then you understand the problems, cold weather issues, leaky mags (if not cared for properly), and inconsistent fps. Otherwise it's awesome! Just ask the old timers about SkyPilot and his m700.
