Airsoft Discussion / Re: Odd Radio Settings.

MURS is always a nice set of frequencies. Most people won't be there since they buy cheap frs/gmrs radios.

Lowering the price on this to $240. Also, I am located in Waterford.

How many of those Turnigy v11.1 2000mah's with the small tamiya connector do you have? I'm interested in getting about 4 of them.

(bump)

Also, do you think the price too high, or just no one is interested?

I hope I didn't put anyone off with the low price or the desire to not work on the replica. Sniping just isn't much my thing either.

If you want any specific images please let me know.

I am willing to sell it for 280 USD or best offer, which is painful, but I am hoping it will go to a good home.

It is certainly a painful price for me. I admit I am somewhat fond of the weapon, but for that reason I would rather know someone is getting use out of it. I am certainly willing to accept more money for it if you want to pay more. :)

Also, I have added images.

It is the stock King Arms Kalashnikov SVD Ultra Grade AEG (KA-AG-64), which is full metal, and I have installed a fuse mosfet, a M120 irregular spring, a Mad Bull Black Python Tight Bore 650mm Inner Barrel, and a Matrix Magnum High Torque Motor. It comes with x4 scope, red dot scope, scope mount, 4 magazines (high cap), gun case (soft), and I would be willing to throw in a M130 or M140 spring and a Maple Leaf Bucking, as well as the original (stick 8.4v NIMH) battery. All the parts are new. Except for the red dot.

The rifle stock goes for $199 on Evike (marked down from $269), but I got it for $170.

It has a broken front lever for the handguard (tightens it down, about $10-$20), and I have modified the safety lever to use a phillips head screw (as the original used an impossible to find fractional hex head).

The rifle is only 2 weeks old and I have put almost $450-$500 into it total, with less than 1000 BBs through the gun. I am willing to sell it for $240 or best offer, which is painful, but I am hoping it will go to a good home. I am willing to lower the price further with a good reason.

I am selling the weapon because the path to making it a very good sniper is a road a bit too long for me. It isn't a bad gun, and it works well and feeds easily. With the M120 spring it currently fires about 410 fps. But the heavier spring and maple leaf bucking will likely give you more fps. Hopefully this will someone a good start at making a good AEG sniper rifle.

I am located in Waterford, MI. Just a little bit west north west of Pontiac, or a lot bit north west of Detroit.

I am willing to trade for:
G36
P90
Tokyo Marui SPAS 12 (oddly specific I know)
M4 (Mostly looking for an ICS split-gearbox M4)
M249
Claymore Mine
In general any Heckler & Koch or FN Herstal replica will be considered, but feel free to offer anything you think would be acceptable. But I am generally not looking for another sniper rifle.

Airsoft Discussion / Re: Any decent sniper rifles for under $450?
« on: October 06, 2015, 04:30:42 PM »
I recently purchased a nice King Arms Kalashnikov SVD for 170 over at futureball. It's full metal for the receiver's, dust cover and barrel. It was quite nice out of the box, with decent range and power (but not outstanding). It's not the easiest gun to upgrade I understand (lots of weird parts), but basics like springs, motors and barrels as far as I can tell are fairly straight forward.

On Friday it must be 370 or under when tested with .20 BBs, but you can run any weight afterward (I run .25s). and there is a higher limit on Sundays (400 fps). Generally semi fire only, however they allow automatic as long as they have very short barrels (like pistols).

I don't visit on week days, so maybe there is a 350 fps limit on week days.
